UniMobil_4U is one part of the project Sustainability4U of the four Universities of Graz
Goals of UniMobil_4U are
- the creation of a good practice example
- to support sustainable mobility and to raise awareness
- to create/optimize links between the sites of the University
- closing the gaps to the cycling routes of the city of Graz
- visualizing critical and dangerous points along the routes
methods:
- online-survey (about 6.000 questionnaires) concerning the mobility behavior of students and employees of the Universities
- surveying and mapping
- expert interviews
results:
- there are similar challenges for all four Universities
- insight views on the mobility behavior of students and employees of the Universities
- identification of the demand for infrastructure and
- needs for optimizing cycling routes concerning the routing, the safety of the routes as well as junctions and network connectivity
