UniMobil_4U is one part of the project Sustainability4U of the four Universities of Graz

Goals of UniMobil_4U are

• the creation of a good practice example
• to support sustainable mobility and to raise awareness
• to create/optimize links between the sites of the University
• closing the gaps to the cycling routes of the city of Graz
• visualizing critical and dangerous points along the routes

methods:

• online-survey (about 6.000 questionnaires) concerning the mobility behavior of students and employees of the Universities
• surveying and mapping
• expert interviews

results:

• there are similar challenges for all four Universities
• insight views on the mobility behavior of students and employees of the Universities
• identification of the demand for infrastructure and
• needs for optimizing cycling routes concerning the routing, the safety of the routes as well as junctions and network connectivity
