Alpine Landscape Dynamics (ALADYN)
The main areas of interests of the research working group on Alpine Landscape Dynamics (ALADYN) are various aspects in the field of process geomorphology. Spatially, we focus particularly on the Eastern European Alps. We apply a whole suite of methods including for instance different geophysical techniques, laserscanning or numerical modelling. ALADYN is led by Prof. Oliver Sass who is supported by Assoc Prof. Gerhard Lieb, Dr. Andreas Kellerer-Pirklbauer and Dr. Joachim Götz. Furthermore, the group consists of Dr. Christian Bauer (lecturer in physical geography), seven PhD-candidates, one student assistant as well as several master degree and bachelor degree students.
